GOT ANY QUESTIONS?


Do you provide an installation service?

Unfortunately we do not provide an installation service. Our items do come with installation instructions and are easy to install. If you do have any problems with the installation of your items, please contact us and we may be able to recommend a local drapery installer.

Can I get a custom quote?

you have two convenient options. Firstly, you can visit our website where all our prices are listed. Just click on the "Request A Quote" button, and you'll be directed to a form where you can fill in your details and product specifications.Alternatively, you can send an email to classicmodernny@gmail.com, stating the products you're interested in and any specific requirements. Within 24 hours, we'll respond with a detailed quotation to help you make an informed decision about your purchase.

How do I measure my windows?
Please check out How to Measure page. Our measuring guides show clearly how to measure your window based on the type of product you are buying.

I don't see the style I'm looking for on your website, can you make a custom order?
For more than 24 years our highly experienced team of skilled seamstresses have been producing the highest quality of custom made window coverings. If there is anything new out there, they can definitely make it. Just give us a call and let us know what you are looking for.

Can you send me a catalog or brochure?
We don't have a brochure or catalogue but our entire product range, including hi resolution photography are available to browse through on this site.

How do I clean my drapes & shades?
The best way to clean your drapes is to call a local professional drapery cleaner who will remove them, have them dry-cleaned and then return and re-hang for you. For the shade, you can only be able to lightly dust off the face with a microfiber brush due to attached tapes & parts to the back of the shade.

Can I choose what lining to have for my drapes?
Yes, please select the lining option you require from the select button box when ordering.

Can I order sample swatches before placing an order?
Sure, please click 'Order Swatch' button and add it to cart.

Can you make with customer's own material?
Yes, we accept C.O.M. Please mail us a swatch of your fabric and contact us with job details.

 

Returns

I made a mistake with my measurements. What can I do?

Your orders are custom made, you will have to order new items as we cannot accept these as returns. But please contact us immediately. We'll try out best to correct if your order is in the early stages of production.

I received the wrong size items. What should I do?
Firstly, make sure that you have removed the items from their packaging and measured them on a flat hard surface. If you have definitely received the wrong size items, contact us and we can arrange for them to be collected. Once we have examined the items, we will then ship your new correct size items. Please note that we make a 3/8" deduction on the width for Inside-mount shades

 

Delivery & Shipping

When will my order be shipped?

Window Treatments - Our normal production lead time is 2~3 weeks after the receipt of your orders. If the fabric is out of stock, you will be contacted with a backorder date and at this time you can choose to wait for the item, select an alternative or cancel your order for a full refund. 

Fabrics - The lead-time for packing of the fabric takes 1~3 business days.

How do you ship my orders?
All drapery, hardware and shades within US are shipped via USPS, UPS or Fedex. Please make sure your Ship To location can accept deliveries.

we ship fabric and fringe in 1 continuous piece whenever possible (which is most of the time). However, there are some occasions in which we are unable to do so for some reason or another. If this situation arises, our support staff will contact you for instructions. And to answer a question that is asked quite often, we never cut yardage orders into 1 yard cuts unless it is requested by our customer. If you require your fabric in a continuous piece or if you have requests, you can list the details in the Special Instructions section during checkout.

Do you ship overseas?
Yes, We do ship overseas. Please contact us about shipping cost before placing an order. We do not ship to APO/FPO addresses, PO boxes, Guam or Puerto Rico.

 

Sample Order

Can I order a swatch sample before placing an order?

We recommend buying swatch samples in each product description so you can see the exact feel/color of the fabric. Swatches cost $1, and shipping is free in U.S. Please click on the ‘Order Sample Swatch’ underneath the 'Choose Color' option. You should receive your swatch within 1~3 working days.
